Add a cylinder

This documentation guides users on adding cylinders to their inventory in Quick Release, including selecting the brand, optional serial number, volume, and empty/full weight.

Feature location#

This feature can be accessed within the Quick Release software by navigating to the following path:

1. Login to your Quick Release account.
2. Go to the “Resources” section.
3. Select “Cylinders” from the dropdown menu.
4. Click on “Add Cylinder” to access the feature.

Important: It’s easier to add all your cylinders first, then your balloon. Cylinders can be used on several balloons.

Add Cylinder#

To add a cylinder to your inventory in Quick Release, follow these steps:

1. Select Brand: Choose the brand of the cylinder you are adding.

2. Add Serial Number (Optional): Optionally, input the serial number of the cylinder.

3. Add Volume: Enter the volume of the cylinder in liters.

4. Enter Empty and Full Weight:

   • Empty Weight: Input the weight in kg of the cylinder when it is empty.
   • Full Weight: Specify the weight in kg of the cylinder when it is full.

   Note: The full weight is crucial as it is utilized to calculate the lift.

Once you have provided the necessary information, the cylinder will be successfully added to your inventory.
