Add a Location

This documentation guides users on adding a new location to the system in Quick Release.

Locations are used to add to a flight (not a booking).

Adding regions to a location helps in matching bookings from specific regions with available seats.

Feature Location

This feature can be accessed within the Quick Release software by navigating to the following path:

To add a location to your system in Quick Release, follow these steps:

Name: Specify the name of the location.
Description: (optional) Provide a description of the location, which can be used in the UP web-app for passengers.
Full Address: Enter the complete address, including address, zip, city, and country.
Geolocate Button: Use the geolocate button to retrieve the latitude, longitude, and elevation of the location.
Max Altitude: Specify the maximum altitude of the location, used in lift calculation.
Optional Meeting Point: Use the Google Address search to find a meeting point, which can be different from the take-off address.

Select Region(s): Choose one or more regions to associate with the location. This helps in matching bookings from specific regions with available seats.

Name: Enter the name of the contact person.
Comment: Add any additional comments or notes related to the contact.
Email: Provide the email address of the contact person.
Phone: Input the phone number of the contact person.
Language: Specify the preferred language for communication with the contact person.
How to Contact: Select the preferred method of contact (email, SMS, or no message) before each flight. You will have to select an email or SMS template to use prior to each flight.

Mark as Favorite: Mark the location as a favorite to show the meteo on the dashboard for this location.

Once you have provided all necessary information, the location can be saved.
