Automatic Booking Confirmation Emails
Auto confirm for UP comes with auto confirm e-mail to your passenger
When passengers confirm their flight through the passenger app, Quick Release can now automatically send a booking confirmation email - no manual action required.
This feature works seamlessly with auto-confirmation, ensuring your passengers receive all the details they need the moment they confirm their flight.
How it works
- A passenger confirms their flight via the passenger app
- Quick Release automatically sends your selected booking confirmation email template
- You receive a copy (BCC) of every email sent, keeping you informed
The system ensures each passenger receives exactly one confirmation email, even if they click confirm multiple times.
How to configure
Go to Settings > UP (Passengers App) settings and select your preferred booking confirmation email template from the dropdown.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| None (default) | No automatic email is sent (default) |
| Your template | Select any of your existing booking confirmation email templates |
What passengers receive
Passengers receive your selected booking confirmation email template. Any bookmarks used in your template (such as {{ flight_date }}, {{ meeting_hour }}, {{ location_name }}, etc.) are automatically filled with the booking information.
Operator visibility
Every automatic confirmation email includes your operator email address in BCC, so you always have a copy of what was sent to your passengers.
Requirements
- Auto-confirmation must be enabled in your Passengers App settings
- At least one booking confirmation email template must be created
- Passengers must have a valid email address on their booking
