Booking Flow Improvements
Three small changes that save clicks every day
Your “reservations on another flight” choice is remembered
In the flight details, the available-bookings panel has a toggle to also show reservations that are already on another flight. Until now that toggle reset on every flight you opened. From now on your choice is remembered per user: switch it on once and it stays on for every flight — also after logging out and back in. Switch it off and it stays off. Your colleagues keep their own preference.
Add + confirm in one click
When assembling a flight you used to add a booking first, then look it up in the flight list and confirm it — two clicks and a lot of scrolling per booking. The available-bookings list now has an extra button:
- Add — unchanged: the booking is attached to the flight with status added.
- Add + confirm (new) — the booking is attached and immediately set to confirmed, in one go.
The same combined action was already available when dragging a booking onto a flight in the calendar; the flight page now finally matches it. No email is sent automatically — sending confirmation mails remains a separate, deliberate action, exactly like before.
Duplicate detection now also looks at the phone number
Quick Release warns you when two open bookings share the same email address. But bookings taken by phone often have no email at all — and those duplicates went unnoticed. From now on, bookings without an email address are also matched on their phone number.
The comparison ignores how the number was typed: spaces, dots or slashes, and +32, 32 or 0032 notations all count as the same number. You get the familiar orange/red duplicate warning in the booking list, and merging works exactly as with email duplicates. Existing open bookings participate too.
Happy flights!
