Cleaner Flight Manifest — PIC in Totals

A Cleaner, More Accurate Flight Manifest

The flight manifest PDF has been updated to make the passenger list and the role of the Pilot in Command (PIC) clearer.

What’s Changed

Until now, the PIC was added as an extra row at the bottom of the passenger list on the manifest. This was confusing — pilots are crew, not passengers — and it inflated the passenger count.

From now on:

  • The PIC is no longer shown in the passenger list
  • The totals row at the bottom of the passenger table now includes the PIC’s weight, displayed as Totals (incl. PIC - XX kg)

This way you still see the full take-off weight at a glance, but your passenger list contains only actual passengers.

What You’ll See

Open or print any flight manifest:

  • The passenger table contains only the booked passengers
  • The bottom Totals row clearly indicates that the PIC’s weight has been added in
  • The pilot’s name still appears in the manifest header as before

Why This Matters

  • Accurate passenger counts — The number of rows matches the number of passengers on board
  • Transparent weight calculation — The total weight remains correct and clearly shows the PIC contribution
  • Clearer document — Less risk of confusion when sharing the manifest with crew or authorities

No configuration needed — the new layout is applied automatically to every manifest you generate.

Safe flights!
