NOTAM Airspace Warnings

Description (English)#

Quick Release now warns you about active NOTAMs that matter for your scheduled balloon flights — restricted areas, navigation warnings, obstacles and more — without opening a separate briefing tool.

One-time setup#

Create a free account at autorouter.aero and connect it in Settings → weather settings and NOTAM → Airspace / NOTAM → connect Autorouter account. From that moment Quick Release fetches the NOTAMs for the regions around your launch locations and refreshes them at least every 6 hours.

Where you see warnings#

• Flight planning list: a red or amber indicator with a count next to the launch location — red means an airspace restriction overlaps your flight, amber means something else deserves a look.
• Flight detail — weather panel: the full list of relevant NOTAMs with plain details, plus a severity chip that stays visible when the panel is collapsed.
• Trajectory map: toggle a NOTAM layer to see the affected areas drawn on the map; click an area for details.
• Dashboard weather card: selecting a date/slot also shows the NOTAM summary for your favourite location.
• Location picker: warning icons next to candidate launch locations, so you can pick a quieter spot immediately.

Only what matters#

Every NOTAM is filtered against your flight: time window, distance from your launch location and trajectory, altitude, and category. Wide-area administrative notices (e.g. AIP announcements) are kept in a collapsed “background notices” group so they never drown out real hazards.

⚠️ The information is an aid, never a replacement for your official briefing — the pilot in command decides.

Quick Release waarschuwt je voortaan voor actieve NOTAM’s die relevant zijn voor je geplande ballonvaarten — verboden gebieden, navigatiewaarschuwingen, obstakels en meer — zonder een aparte briefing-tool te openen.

Eenmalige installatie#

Maak een gratis account op autorouter.aero en koppel het via Instellingen → weer- en NOTAM-instellingen → Luchtruim / NOTAM → Autorouter-account koppelen. Vanaf dan haalt Quick Release de NOTAM’s op voor de regio’s rond je opstijglocaties, minstens elke 6 uur ververst.

Waar je de waarschuwingen ziet#

• Vluchtplanning: een rode of oranje indicator met aantal naast de opstijglocatie — rood betekent een luchtruimbeperking die je vaart overlapt, oranje betekent iets anders dat je aandacht verdient.
• Vluchtdetail — weerpaneel: de volledige lijst relevante NOTAM’s, plus een chip die zichtbaar blijft als het paneel is ingeklapt.
• Trajectkaart: schakel de NOTAM-laag in om de betrokken gebieden op de kaart te zien; klik op een gebied voor details.
• Dashboard weerkaart: bij het selecteren van een datum/dagdeel zie je ook de NOTAM-samenvatting voor je favoriete locatie.
• Locatiekiezer: waarschuwingsicoontjes bij kandidaat-locaties, zodat je meteen een rustiger alternatief kiest.

Alleen wat ertoe doet#

Elke NOTAM wordt gefilterd op je vaart: tijdvenster, afstand tot opstijglocatie en traject, hoogte en categorie. Brede administratieve berichten (zoals AIP-aankondigingen) staan in een ingeklapte groep “achtergrondberichten”, zodat ze echte gevaren nooit overstemmen.
